How to submit a post:

All postings are self-service. Here's a outline of the process:

1. Go to the home page for the City in which you want to post
2. Click on the "Post Your Ad" link in the top right corner
3. Select the main category in which you would like to post
4. Click on the sub-category in which you want to post.
5. Fill in the blank fields in the form
6. Review the Terms of Use, then check the terms of use box if you agree click "Post Now"
7. Check your email for activating your Ad.
8. Click the link in that email message to activate your post
9. Keep the email that contains your activation link, because you can use it later to edit or delete the post.
10. Do not delete the email which contains your activation link or else you will not be able to delete or edit your post.  Please note we cannot resend your activation link, delete or make any changes for you.

How to reply to a post :

1. To reply to a post, click on the reply to email address below the title of the posting.
2. If the posting has a Contact this User Form - Enter the email you wish to use (Please be careful when exposing your email on the internet - there are spammers out there & we cannot be held responsible if you get spam mail), Write your reply in the form provided then select send.
3. If you want to remain anonymous when replying to a post we recommend setting up an online email account (Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, etc.) and using this when replying.

How to edit or delete a post:

1. To edit or delete a post, simply go the second email that you received -  "your post has been approved" and click on the link below "If you want to edit or delete your ad later, go to the following url"
2. Enter your password & select Submit
3. Now you can edit and update or delete the post using links located at the bottom.
4. * Editing your post does not bring it up to the current date. To accomplish this you will need to first delete the existing post and then submit a new post.

How to include a picture:

1. After you have filled the initial post fields (Title, Location, Post, Insert a link, Password, Email).
2. Select Browse in the Upload Pictures Field & browse in your computer's directory to find the picture you want to upload and select open & lastly once you have agreed to the terms - Select Post Now.

How to include a link

1. After you have filled the initial post fields (Title, Location, Post)
2. Go the field that says Insert a link: http:// and type your link leaving out the http://, if your link requires it you should include the www part of the address, but if you notice after the post has been activated that your link doe not work leave out the www or check the link for the correct syntax or maybe the site is down.

How to repost:

The way to bring an existing post up to the current date (top of the list) is to delete the post and submit a new one the same process you went through to post initially.

How to change country / city:

1. Select Change Location either below the logo or
2. Select Change City on the link below the event calendar

How to change  category:

1. Select Post Your Ad on the top right corner of the screen or
2.  Select Post Ad on the left side of the screen below the calendar.

How to search for Ad's:

1. Make sure you are in the appropriate City/location & Category then enter the search term in the field search.

How to post events that appear in the calendar:

1. Make sure you are in the right Country/City where you want to post.
2. Click on any date on the calendar
3. Select Post Your Ad
4. Enter the appropriate fields.

How to post on Forums:

1. Click on Forum link located below the calendar
2. Go to the bottom of the screen & click on the link: New posts

Can I post Ad's in other cities at the same time?

Yes, if they are in compliance with our Terms of Use.

I posted an Ad - Why is it not showing up?

You must activate the Ad via the link you received in the email you provided.

Why cant I see my Ad any longer?

There are many reasons why you can no longer see your Ad(s), the possibilities are: Your Ad has expired, eFreeList.org community might have flagged your Ad as abusive, Your Ad might have not been in compliance with our Terms of Use, You might have deleted your Ad.

Why didn't I receive the activation email?

There are many reasons why you may not see the email with the activation link, the possibilities are:  Your email is in the junk folder of your emails received, your email was filtered out as spam, your email server may be down, our email server may be down.

What is the second email I received form eFreeList.org for?

The second email allows you to: See your Ad, Edit your Ad, & Delete your Ad.

Can you edit, find, or delete my ad for me?

No. You will have to do this yourself by using the link provided in the second email.

I have forgotten my password, what do I do?

Go to the second email you received from eFreeList.org; you will find the password there.

Why is the link in my Ad not working?

There are many reasons why your link does not work, the possibilities are You should use the insert link field provided in our post area, The link you provided is not a valid link, you may need to put WWW.

Can I search for Ad's all across the states?

No. Ad searches are specific to the city/location you are in.
